Apple finally held a last minute press conference on Friday to address the latest Iphone 4 reception issues due to Attenuation problems with the new design of the Iphone 4. Apple states that this has always been an industry wide issue and then they compared HTC and Blackberry (RIM) phones to see how they perform relating to the same attenuation problems. Steve Jobs also states that "Smartphones are not perfect and neither is Apple". The funny thing is that the fix to the problem is everyone gets a FREE BUMPER CASE to improves the attenuation problem. Also, Nokia weighed in on the topic and stated there engineering is superior in this technology. Furthermore, BlackBerry (RIM) and HTC were not to pleased with Apple's comments. This Apple press conference was mainly to address the recent media fenzy in regards to the recent Consumer Reports article that states that they can't recommend the Iphone 4 because of the reception problems.
